I'm trying to envision a scenario in which I'd ever want to see Chavez pitch in a Braves uniform again...perhaps with a 10 run lead, perhaps.

Why though. He is stretched out as a starter so why burn another reliever. If he can finish this then you have a rested Prince Albert, JJ and Riggy for tomorrow. But you might be able to avoid JJ and Riggy tomorrow too.

I mean Laureano, Merrifield, and Urshela have all been excellent in a small sample.
Overall, he and Merrifield (along with Urschel) have been pretty good emergency pickups.
