I'd just like to say that Max Fried is a dominant ace.

I don't know why teams don't just throw their junk ballers vs the braves. The braves are so good late in games bc they can handle power, but suck vs finesse

Tanaka isnt junk ball. When he's on with his splitter, he's very very tough to hit. He's been great in the playoffs the last 3 years.

Wins are wins, but this isn’t a close to 100% Yankees team. But ef them.

Fried shouldn’t of pitched that last inning but wow he’s Developing into a true number 1 now I think.
If Anderson even turns out to be a 3/4 then that’s a pretty nice start to a good Rotation for next season with Fried,Soroka, Anderson.
Depending on Soroka’s health next season I believe we are set up nicely to add a dependable veteran starter and be a true threat to win a title the next 2-3 years.
I think this year we just won’t have the pitching but who knows with this crazy season.
Sure would be nice to push a run across this inning.

AA will add a FA SP, not sure who, but that's a solid top 3. We'll see what happens at the deadline. Adding a Lynn would help that since he's under contract next year. But you add a SP with those 3, someone else emerges with this bullpen, and offense. Dodgers still crazy good, big hurdle to get over. I do think when healthy, we have the 2nd best team in the NL though.

But the Reds suck ass and Sonny Gray would take votes from him as well I'd think.

Degrom of course is up there as well.

But as it stands both Fried and Darvish have great records, great era/fip, and are on winning teams. It's like the ultimate trifecta that voters love.

Fried has the added narrative bonus of being the Braves one man rotation.
