Pretty amazing. Maybe this is just a really bad stretch for him.

I looked up his stats in this stretch, and he's given up 7 hits. 5 of those 7 hits are HRs. He has a 14.46 k9, but an awful 6.75 bb9. The k rate gives me some hope.

dob saying that is a lot. he's usually a dinosaur i'm expecting to just quote saves at me like snit.

I still think smith is a good player. He's just not worth the money or the draft pick. I'm not advocating cutting him. But I do think you have to look a playing match ups more.

On the other hand....Snit is the manager. So maybe it's best he uses the better players in higher leverage situations.

Just know you need to be up 2+ in the 9th.
