Why wasn't Tonkin good enough to reliever Shuster to begin with???

At this point, let McHugh throw his arm out and complete this game.

DFA or Phantom IL tomorrow, please. If Lee's not ready, I'd rather see Heller until he is. McHugh just hasn't had it all year.
 
Brutal all around. Putting McHugh back out there and not protecting against a bunt in an obvious squeeze situation when they've shown time and time again they will bunt in those situations.
 
I'm hoping Snit is leaving McHugh in to demonstrate to AA that the guy is washed up. That's not the case but hope springs eternal.

We just had a ****ing day off and two starters threw 7 innings this series. It’s mind boggling, unless there’s an agenda here we aren’t aware of. I thought the agenda was to win as many games as possible.

They always over prepare for Colorado...they think the staff will be taxed before the LA series.
 
I mean, if you’re going to be that non-commited winning this game, why not just let Schuster pitch? Why not rest some of your starters?
 
Tonkin out here firing bullets that could've been used when the game was still manageable.
