GDT 8/28/23: Braves @ Rockies - Albies Returns

Feels like the Braves deserve 3-4 more runs and the Rockies deserve about two fewer.

I guess you're right about LH getting most the starts, but I at least think lopez should get some starts at SS

Of course he should. He should be starting 1 game a week giving the entire infield 1 day off a month. That’s preferable to losing Albies for 2 weeks because he had to play every single day for some unknown reason.

I know he hits a ton of balls on the ground, but it’s still shocking that Ronnie only has 29 homers given how hard he hits the ball.

Acuna is 15% fly ball rate away from being the runaway MVP. He did that back in 2020/2021, and if he can get back to that he will post a 10 win season.

At the admitted risk of being whiny, does it seem like pitches just off the plate are strikes to our batters but balls to theirs?

There apparently is a SS on the bench named L Williams. I legit have no idea who this is, which is the first time I think that’s ever been the case.

Who in the world is this guy? And why do the Braves have 3 SS on the roster?
