GDT 8/29/24: Braves @ Phillies - Urshela MIA?

Phillies cheering for Arcia to be injured. They are such a pathetic fan base.

And, every body came down on me when I said they threw at Riley. They threw at d'Arnaud the night before Riley too. They are a despicable fan base. They are listed as the 5th meanest fan base.

Per DOB: “As the Braves entered the clubhouse after the game, GM Alex Anthopolous was waiting in Snitker’s office. Through closed doors, raised voices could be heard. As things got more heated, players and staff poured into the office to settle things down. Punches were thrown, according to multiple witnesses.”

Wow.

Wow.

I wish this were true

At this point I wish we would just completely fall apart and that guy who is supposedly at the helm would be fired and we could start over next year.

AA wouldn’t fire him at this point in the season but i guarantee he’s thought about his replacement already.

Even if Snit were to retire, I’m afraid they’d go with another Cox dinosaur disciple in Weiss or Eddie Perez.

I want AA to finally put “his guy” in that position (hoping it’s not either of the two I mentioned).

So even if he knew Marsh was going to hit a homer, he wouldn't have been sure whether to take Morton out? Snit really is next-level dumb.

I'd really like to hear an honest assesment from a player what he brings to the table. I understand the warm blanket feeling of a manager who players feel like has a long leash and doesn't berate them for mistakes. Of course they enjoy playing for someone like that. But players also like winning. And last night, every player knew that that game should have been a win. That has to create some animosity over time.

I mean you know it is bad when the idiots of reddit and facebook and twitter all want twitner's head. and then to slap the fans in the face by saying he can't predict the future is just icing on the cake.. what a smug, arrogant excuse with ZERO accountability.. I mean what if Ronnie told twit that if he had a crystal ball and knew that his hit was not going to be a homer, he would have probably run... how would twit have liked that.

I have been harping for years that he is a leach that hung around in the minors for 40 years lurking in the shadows so no one notices him and just waited his chance out. I have seen these types in my professional career.. attach themselves to other's work so the higher ups won't fire them.. Don't really take a lot of vacation so people won't notice how little they do. I hate these people and have fired these people when I have power to do so.

Twit is no longer able to hide his dumbassery.. he is not a good tactician, he doesn't understand lineup construction, and he doesn't understand load management. Only thing he has is that players (well starters only) like him because he lets them do what they want and they get to play every game.

Luckily, the pressure is building enough that I don't think he survives for another year... just hate the Braves wasted so many good teams on someone as stupid as him running this team.
