I don't understand the issue people are taking with saying Johnson is not a very good defensive 3rd baseman. I don't really see how it's up for debate. Oh, he made a good reactionary play, big whoop.

CY, its not fair to say this backlash is in response to one nice play. CJ has made several excellent plays in just the last two weeks.

I would. He went six a couple of times in AAA. His arm is fresh.

But in a one run game with a fresh pen, I'm not sure you bring him back out unless we add some more runs here.

I know it's only a 1-run game but we're in a stretch of 20 days without an off day, and our bullpen other than Kimbrel have been pretty active the past week and a half.

Nobody is going to say that CJ has even good range. The differences between teh two crowds is just how bad it is.
