GDT 8/3 Braves (Sanchez) @ Mets (deGrom)

Got to find a way to acquire Jacob somehow, he brings everything this group needs to get better. The only reason I would not make everybody available to get it done is that the Mets play in the East. Probably only Freddie and Ozzie would be on my protected list.

I didn't realize that Sanchez has been THIS good this year. After that inning his ERA is now sub-3 and his FIP is pretty respectable at 3.98. I don't expect it to last much longer, but man he has been such a pleasant surprise so far this year.

Then you shortened the window of our team being competitive.
 
Good start for Sanchez, hopefully deGrom either has an off night or we get his pitch count up enough to get him out of the game.
 
You guys are twisting that way out of proportion. Wonder twins are very comparable players. Flowzuki are very comparable players. FF and RF are not comparable. If player x has even a small amount of success over player Y and they are comparable. Then take that advantage. We had a rain out the night before this series. There is nothing wrong with looking at pitching match ups and planning ahead.

That said I am not sure what pitchers work with what catchers. Or Twinter just does a one for you one for you.

But please stop equating subbing Dansby and Charles for subbing RF for FF
