I would because Span is up second. Plus Avilan is better vs righties than Walden historically too. I know he's thought of by some as more a lefty specialist. But if you check his minor stats he actually did a bit better vs righties. The point being he can get both out. Plus Walden blew his last one run save chance. So maybe let Avilan get a few outs, then bring in Walden for a one out save.
I forget...did I use it yet today?

Oberholtzer pitching a shutout vs RedSox tonight. Was he considered a high level prospect when we dealt him? Or more of a organiztional depth type of guy?
I just wanted to make sure the declaration was still in play for for the day otherwise I would say it again on Carpenter the next time he comes out.
