Agreed with all of this including being happy with Olson. He’s worse than Freddie but better than every other 1B. It worked out for everyone and maybe even for the best.

Acuna is about 15 percentage points of fly ball percentage away from being a 50 HR guy. The scary part is, he was exactly that in 2020 and 2021. So if he can combine his fly ball tendencies from 2020/2021 with his new contact rates of 2023, he’s a no doubt 9-10 WAR player.
 
He will lose some BA and some stolen bases, but those aren’t as valuable as the power production he would gain. If that power then translated to higher walk rates as it typically does for power hitters, Acuna would then approximate peak Bonds.

Don't see how the writers would put a Dodgers logo on his hat if he did get to the hall.

If anything it'd be a no logo.

It'd probably be like a Mussina situation.

It still is wild to me he's outhitting his numbers from his Braves years.

That’s scary. Acunas potential is insane.

It will be a no logo, especially after he wins the World Series this year.
