GDT 8-5: Brewers at Braves; Game 2

They look to be keeping Strider in his regular rotation slot even though he was scratched Saturday. Not that it makes much of a difference at this point.
 
AA just said he explored adding guys on expiring contracts, so the Braves would get to know them, and they would get to know the Braves to see if they were a "fit" to sign for 226 and beyond.

It doesn't matter. This team has to be completely overhauled. Trading Murphy won't save this team. Getting rid of AA, snit, and half the position players is the only hope of turning this around
 
Down 4-0 and the life has been pretty much sucked out of any realistic chance we had of winning this game. Infield hit and a wild pitch and off come the wheels.

He came in and had to start getting rid of the old regime’s players one by one and replacing them with A’s players. Olson/murph/ Allen are his legacy.

Most here are cheering for losing to get a high draft pick. I want losing from here out to the point there's 2 panhandlers to every customer in the battery. That's the only thing that can rid of us of AA, and that's the only thing that will save this window
 
We complain about trading away Contreras for what ended up being a worse catcher in Murphy. But Langeliers is having a fine season for the A's. Just hit his 21st homer.

F'n idiot has had a hole in LF for his whole regime and trades good players to "fix" a hole that didn't exist. If AA had kept william and gave FF his 6th year, this season isn't a botched abortion

The Braves can probably make a nice bench out of the players in their starting lineup. That’s not a great statement after I reread it.
 
Raise your hand if you are glad AA didn’t just give Ozuna away for a salary dump so he could goof off on the bench the whole season. Man that AA is sure a clever guy.

Maybe we can see riggy throw some meaningless innings while down 6 run next.
 
Olson and Murphy are crashing and burning. Ozzie and Harris are garbage hitters now. Riley's numbers go down every season, and now he gets hurt all the time. Acuna is great, but he's never available. Sale - see Acuna. Strider is just an above avg pitcher now, not an ace. It's probably time to reset this offseason
