It’s also really weird to spam every GDT. It’s extremely tiresome.

Case in point: Olson went 3-8 with a BB today (138 wRC) and a good part of this thread is about how he’s been a disappointment. Pretty weird!

Olson one year is still a sss. No reason for defense to regress. He’s a human new league new team new wife. A lot of **** is going on. He will out perform ff over the contract years that overlap with ff.

I would like us to add another impact bat or at least a high obp hitter. That’s why I’m probably too high on Grissom bc I see him as an ideal hitter to balance the live up more.

MLB bought Rawlings and has manipulated the baseball to achieve the results they wanted while denying it was happening.

Why would anyone doubt they'd press on umpires and replay officials to achieve the same results?

I believe they would. All it would take was 1 pissed off umpire to spill the beans and Manfred is gone. Some of the calls going against us are so obvious. That home plate call on Alonso still has me pissed off.

Manfred's push for robo umps makes me think he wants to eliminate the umpires as weak links in his ability to manipulate results. It's easier to control one IT person than dozens of umpires.

One thing is certain, MLB is trying their best to manipulate results.
 
One of the small silver linings, I guess, is that our top bullpen arms got the day off yesterday. Should help us somewhat today if Strider can have a nice outing and we put up some professional at bats against deGrom.

I think they’re using different balls for different teams too.
 
Braves lead the league in homers, have given up the third fewest. If the balls are manipulated, I'd say it's probably helping them.

Mets rank eighth in the league in homers and have given up the fifth most.

The Mets won because they are talented, and terrifyingly well ran all of a sudden. Couple that with a few small sample size blips of good luck and we are stuck with watching the Braves lose 3 of 4 so far this weekend.

Stop whining about things being unfair. It reeks of being a desperate orange loser.

There are people here who think the Braves are a crappy team despite being on a 98-win pace. Shouldn’t surprise you in the slightest.
