I've been working on my deck. I knew I wouldn't miss anything with has been strider on the mound. Anyone know if you can do the full TJ after the brace? Strider is done as is
 
I’ve assumed he has thrown his computer through his TV screen and is off to Best Buy to get another new one….. and interestingly, it’s been a record sales year at his local Best Buy…..
 
This Collins guy has a pretty unsustainable line, whereas Baldwin has been legit. Once that BABIP regresses I expect their offensive lines to end up being very similar. If that’s the case, the catcher wins easily. Nobody should be making a ranking decision based upon a 0.5 WAR difference.

Dude, Langeliers has had an insane 3 week stretch where he is hitting like .448 with 10 homers. That's it.

His OPS was .709 at the ASB. I promise you his numbers will take a nose dive soon enough.

No idea if that's true or not. I'm just looking at the full season sample... you can determine what small samples you like better.
 
Olson's ISO is down again this season. He's now less than .200 for the first time in his career. This contract is gonna be great

I think I like the 3.5 month sample where he and TDA had almost the exact same slash line on 7/12, rather than the 3 week sample after that where he's hitting like a roided up Bonds.

SL is entering the prime of his career
 
Olson is turning into mark grace before our eyes. Well, a .250 BA mark grace.

Olson has a wRC+ of 125 this season and 118 last season. FF hasn't been that low since 2012. FF the last 2 season is 139 and 135 for reference.

Dude, do realize how unsustainable his last 3 weeks is? Even Aaron Judge isn't gonna maintain that sort of production.

He's gonna crash hard. That doesn't mean he isn't still a good catcher. He's just nowhere near this good.

I don't think he's gonna hit HRs at that level, but I do think he's at a point in his career where he will hit his peak. I would be surprised at current trends if Olson is better than him any season going forward.

Just to be clear, I think the trade was fine. I just will always hate that we didn't give FF the 6th year. Always, till my dying day.
 
I don’t think it is fair to say SL is propped by hot streak without mentioning Olson typically has his own mini hot streaks that prop him up as well.
