GDT 8/7/19: Braves at Twins - The Fighting Fried Attacks Again

Batttle of lefties, Fried vs Perez

None of the Twins have faced Fried while only 4 of the Braves have faced Perez.

Donaldson is 3 for 11, McCann 1-3 and Joyce and Flowers are o-2 and 0-3 respectively.

wouldn't it make more sense to play Riley at third and have Donaldson DH

oh and I like going with Fried as a hitter and using the DH for someone else

Fried is clearly catching and not sure who is pitching now.

Also ender will not be in there against a lefty and being a day after night game.

Today is a massive game. We get to see how we stack up against a very good team with a better record than us and a better run differential too. This is the kind of team we will be facing in the playoffs. We need to win these kinds of games.

Max is gonna carve them up- They've never seen him before.... at least that's my working theory here..
 
If I were one of the 2,103 marlin fans left, I might would walk away looking at brinson's stats (SSS, sure). They gave up one of the best players in mlb for a headliner that's putting up a .492 ops

In their defense, his numbers in the minors were pretty darn good. But it's sad knowing what they could have had for a guy like Yelich.

Assuming Ozzie would be traded in the deal, I dream of a 1-4 of Acuna-Yelich-Freeman-Donaldson.

If Riley seriously can't get in the lineup today, then he needs to be in Gwinnett. There's truly zero reason for him to be on the roster right now.
 
Also, if they believe it's best to have Culberson at short at Camargo DH, then why have we had to suffer through Camargo play short for so long when he hasn't hit at all?
