GDT: 8/8/'14, Braves (Santana) vs. Nationals (Strasburg), 7:35pm EST

It's really hard to blow a 7 run lead. The Braves tried their best, but came up short.

Better luck tomorrow I guess.

Heyward now 12 pts within Freeman on BA. Unheard of considering Jason was at .180 and Freddito was high .300's.
 
Also since I'm not a big believer in getting greedy, I'm going to go ahead and call it now. I'm NOT expecting a huge game from BJ tomorrow. Everyone has a bad day here and there so I'm reasonable and believe Bj won't hit a Homer tomorrow.
 
A few more hits and he might reach his record high batting average as a brave of .220. He really deserves it after all the hard work he has put in. Hang in there beej, you will be a .220 hitter again, I believe in you.
 
I tuned in late and thought that WAS Harper hitting the wall in RF and watched the HR about 20 times in a row before realizing it wasn't him. Most fun I've had in months.
 
Strasburg is literally the Braves bitch. I hope B-Ref updated this for yesterday.

ON his career he has a 3.15 ERA. Against the Braves a 4.62 ERA. He's 3-6 against the braves in decisions as well. In 15 starts he averages under 5 IP per start.

Here's to hoping this trend continues!

You aren't an ace if you cannot own a pathetic hitting team like the Braves. He supposed to be so good that he should strike 15 batters and hold us to 1 run each time he starts, but no, we bend him over train style while we let some no name AAAA Jabroni own us like an ace.

We need to take the series today and keep it up. This team has to keep going... they're a good team, they really are. I hope we can rely on Jason for the next month or so, he looks as good as ever.
 
Jason does look great. The key tonight will be getting to Roark early and putting more pressure on the nats.

I am confident that we will do both!

Jason is swinging the bat better but when is the power going to come? He's a singles hitter.
