GDT: 8/8/'14, Braves (Santana) vs. Nationals (Strasburg), 7:35pm EST

Umpire tightening the zone with rain looming. He wants the Nationals to get out of this one.

Watching LaStella make that play was reminiscent of the dropped fly ball in Seattle. Figures they'd call it an "infield fly" LOL.

Also, as for the weather, we might have an hour delay, but we will be good. Their one good BP long man is unavailable today due to having pitched heavy innings yesterday.

Now, let's buckle down Ervin and get out of this QUICKLY.

Good stuff Ervin! Though he picked a bad time to take forever. Lol, let's hurry up and get this one completed.

Ervin is DEALING. One hit (thanks to Dalyn).

I suggest we swing at everything and get right back to the mound to make sure this one counts.

Yes, Braves, this would be the one instance where it would be okay to swing at everything.

Seems like that is exactly what they just did- especially Ervin. He took two right down Peachtree, and then swung very late at a ball.

With BJ, of course, you never can tell.
