GDT 8/8/15 Braves v Marlins

Sure would be nice for swisher, Bourn, or both to resurrect their career like AJ has. AJ is having an outstanding year

Yeah, I would agree. These are the kind of things that you just can't tell looking at his statlines.

He isn't the perfect player for sure and there is a bunch of risk that he won't be starter quality in the 4th year of that deal but I am just so happy he is here to setup a positive environment for the new waves of kids taht are going to be coming up to the big leagues by 2018.
 
SO could NIck Swisher be a 2 WAR player as he moves further away from his injury?
 
Does anybody else experience problems with the new Gameday video set up? The new version is so much worse than the old one.

Here are my problems:

1. The volume control doesn't work AT ALL after the first minute or two.
2. You can't see the scores of the other games. There's a button VIEW ALL GAMES but it doesn't work and when it does you can't see the scores.
3. You can't see the play by play list with the video on. It you want to know what happened in the last inning, you're out of luck
4. On video playbacks you can't FF in increments, but going back 10 sec at a time works well.

The GAMEDAY with live video is a great idea but it has too many bugs still in it for this late in the season.

ps. Love Swisher's energy!
 
Always been a fan of Swisher and to 76, i said i would have signed him at the time when we were going after outfielders.

Having him over BJ would have been much better.

He's had a couple nice swings tonight, but realistically . . . no. His knees are a big issue that will limit his effectiveness and his ability to play with any regularity. Best case scenario is that he is an effective bench bat next year. His defense is poor enough that he needs to hit A LOT and play A LOT to be a 2 WAR player.

Yeah, the playing time is going to be tough since he should primarily play 1B at this point. Good call.
