Not surprised to see Bourn in left and Maybin in center. With the leg issues he's had this is not the same Bourn we had three years ago. Still glad to see him back in a Braves uniform.
 
If Peterson is struggling whenever Olivera is ready, I wonder if we would see him at 2B and leave Adonis at 3B for a few games.

That Braves lineup is bad but I'm not sure it is Miami bad...

Doesn't Freddie understand that we are now in a race to the bottom?
 
Fredi showing off again putting 4 lefties in a row in the middle of the lineup. (I know swish is switch).

Bourn volunteered to play left, which is a classy thing to do but also probably reflects the reality that his range has dropped off in the past three years.

He's gotten back to himself more lately though, stealing and hitting better and playing better defense. He has a 4 DRS this year in CF which is good, though his range numbers are still down but he seemed more himself lately. Maybin has been bad in both DRS and range this year, -15 DRS is quite bad and unlike him. So maybe all the time off and injuries have effected him this year similar to how they did Bourn last year and earlier this year.

I agree that is most likely. Bourn has been better in CF this year than Maybin, much better actually. They both haven't had the range they once showed but Maybin has been pretty bad defensively unlike Bourn overall.
 
I would love to see folty pitch well tonight. Seems like forever since one of our rookie starters pitched well
 
Hope Prado's okay. I've always liked the guy. (Just don't want him to beat us when we're playing the Marlins.)
 
That was ugly. Folty has got to get his breaking pitches over the plate to keep the batters honest. They're just sitting on his fastball.
