GDT 8/8/21: Gnats @ Braves - Intresting Lineup

Sigh. And yet again, failure to put guys away ahead 0-2. Couldn’t get Corbin out and now you just hope to avoid the big inning.
 
What is happening with our pitchers? This team is full of guys who can’t hit. Like, Christ. Free outs, Max.
 
Amazing what throwing old man River a fastball will do for you. Our scouting is horrible to let Zimmerman beat us on offspeed last night and again today. Braves, pay attention... if you throw over 92, he ain't hitting it!
 
This umpire is not giving Max anything but Corbin sure has hell isn’t having any problems getting calls off the plate
 
It's not gonna happen for us today. We've all saw how this plays out. All the hard hit balls on our side are outs while they have hits every inning under 80 mph

As long as we are going to waste three at bats with Kevan Smith, we need to emphasize defense and have Heredia in center.
