GDT: 9/10 at Philly

lol no, it just happens to be he is getting a lot of run support this year. Maddux had a great year where he hardly got any run support.

I remember the year 2003, when Maddux had like the highest ERA he ever had here and the worst I'd ever see.him nibble in Atlanta, he still racked uo wins like Ortiz because of amazing run support.

Wonder if we cut him before next season. He's not arb eligible until 2021, but he's absolutely awful.

No chance. He has options and has good spin rate on his stuff. The Braves have shown they will give multiple chances (Luke Jackson, Sobotka) to guys like this.

My favourite was one of the years Maddux wasn't getting run support and he also had the pen blowing multiple games for him. One game, close and late, he got a couple on, and Bobby started out. Maddux looked over at him, shook his head no, and got in position to pitch. Bobby hesitated for a second and just walked back down the steps.

On one hand, a run!

On the other, damn, now Camargo is going to make the PS roster and get to bat in every single game.

Whoever taught Chipstick the "spit on it" phrase should have to actually spit every time he says it from now on, until they die of dehydration in a week.

Hughes had some serious movement on his pitches. Everything was just falling off the table. One mistake to Camargo but other than that he was untouchable.
