I could understand if it was someone like Riley who's been injured and just coming back and trying to get ABs, but Mac had no business there hitting. Especially with 2 catchers on the bench. Mind boggling.

What is the point in carrying 2 other catchers? 1.5 of them are competent...lol the .5 that's not is Flowers defense. But that's not relevant to this argument.

Bowman has been saying that for weeks, he might have a source.
After falling behind in the count, he seemed to have Neris pretty well timed and hit the ball hard but, unfortunately, right at the left fielder. May have been our best chance to tie this one up.
