GDT 9/12/20 - Slug it Saturday

That was my favorite part of the performance. He did not look good early, but settled in unbelievably. We just haven't saw that much from the young guys. It was a joke BTW... someone pointed out that newcomb was listed as a rhp yesterday.

I was at work and didn’t get to watch the game last night, so when catching up it was the first comment that caught my eye. Not calling you out—just thought it was funny, in retrospect.

Agree that it’s actually very encouraging vis-à-vis Anderson’s development.

Same here. I had some work to do so I missed the entire game. Seems the most impressive thing to me was going back out in the 7th at 90 pitches and just shutting that **** down. I know the last out was a liner. But I think he got that inning done on 10 pitches. That was impressive.

never gotten a bad stinger to the point it hurt to walk that wore off by the next day?

I have had a bruised kidney and foot. Never been back in 24 hours. But I will say that my kidney bruise I was ready to be put down and so I went to the doc and they gave me 3 shots and a muscle relaxer and I went from death to what the heck I can move. So it seems with enough meds you can trick your body to 80%.

Never taken an Acuna hit baseball off the foot (ouch), but I have hit my shin on something and it came back pretty quickly, so perhaps you're right. None of this matters though, thank GOD Acuna is ok

I saw he had a hit yesterday and the day before so is Freeman still streaking. I missed a few games this week to know. I think I saw him last at 17. Or did I have a dream?!?
