Nah. I just love needling a couple of you guys. You two are the absolute worst kind of fans, you guys defend everything they do. You two will melt if Freddie knocks us out of the playoffs. I don't need to see another championship, we got one and I relish it. I don't live and die with the Braves anymore.

We’re the worst kind of fans when you are the absolute worst! You root for the player over the team. You want the current player to be worse than the guy on the other team. You are trash plain and simple and a clown. And no I won’t be crushed if FF walks anything off bc he’s not a Brave anymore so I could care less just the same if he had a career ending injury. FF needs to hire extra security so you don’t try breaking in his house and raiding his underwear drawer.

Sad, that you would mention career-ending injury and Freddie in the same breath. I wouldn't do that to Barry Bonds as much as I loathe him.

Braves offered Freddie a better contract than he got from the Dodgers. And everyone knows Freddie is better. AA wasnt gonna wait around and be left at the alter with no 1B.

If we played LA and lost to them, the main reason wouldnt be FF. Baseball isnt built around one player.

That's true, but it's not true. No matter how good Tom Glavine was on that night back in 1995, DJ's bat had just as much to do with it. Nobody but himself had anything to do with that run. So yes, Freddie can be solely responsible for the exit should it play out exactly the same way.

Think that's the $64,000 question - have they seen enough in the limited time he's worked behind the scenes out there with EY to just throw him out there?
The more interesting question IMO is WHERE has he been working with EY? We've heard "in the OF", but to my knowledge no one ever specified WHICH corner. It's might be fair to assume that he's worked some in RF so he could play there if Acuna DHs. I have no idea why they said it, but do remember the old guard trying to sneak the idea that LF in Truist is tougher defensively than RF. We all know that's not the case, but I remember that being talked about in interviews when Acuna came up and started out there. They just didn't have the heart to move Markakis to LF.
