GDT: 9/13 Braves at Nats

Easy to find actual info. From his page at MLB

Kyle Wright
Kyle Wright #30
PB/T: R/R6' 4"/215Age: 24

Kyle Hardy Wright
Born: 10/02/1995 in Huntsville, AL
Draft: 2017, Atlanta Braves, Round: 1, Overall Pick: 5
College: Vanderbilt
Debut: 9/04/2018

I’m not sure where you got your info, but it is incorrect. Wright is 28 and went undrafted out of Wake Forest. This is pretty common knowledge.

I notice a lot less pimping of how awesome Riley is by the morons calling stat heads nerds now that he’s had 50 poor PAs in September.

Hmmmmm?

Duvall is next.

ESPN splits have him with 5k and 5bb in less than 50 ab in September. Shouldn't the "stat head nerds" like that outcome? I like the approach. If he can sustain that approach the Braves don't need to worry about 3b.

Adam Duvall- .264/14hr/.917 ops

Bryce Harper- 257/8HR/.911

I mean, over 162 Harper would out play Duvall, and probably by a fairly large margin. I just think it’s funny that, over 60 games, Duvall has been better while making 12% of his salary this year.

Made the catch of his life to rob Swanson. This coming after that BS inning by the Nats.

The Nats announcers said it was one of the top 5 best defensive plays of his career, and then corrected himself, maybe the best catch he's ever made.

I saw the replay and while it was a nice catch, I think an average LF would have made the play more easily and without much fanfare.

...and he is a better fielder.

Duvy was on a similiar pace last year. Over his last 84 games he’s got like 24 dingers

The patience with Duvall has been a very underrated move and handling for AA

That info came from MLB.com.

Another referral to Vanderbilt is here- so apparently NOT common knowledge about what school he attended, or when he was drafted.

Two years after his debut, the former first-rounder from Vanderbilt reminded everyone why the #Braves have been patient with him.
