GDT 9/14/21 Charlie Morton !!!!!!!!!

Williams threw 83 pitches tonight after coming in for relief. Does he usually do that? That seems insane

It really is gonna come down to that Mets series. I thought 1 team would separate themselves and I hope we still do but that series is gonna be like the playoffs.

We have 2 series with the Nats, 2 with the Phils. Mets have 4 games at home with the Pirates, two road series with the A's and Brewers, and a 2-gamer at home with the Marlins. Probably gonna depend how we do with the Phillies. We'll probably need to sweep them to win the division since they have the head to head tiebreaker right now.

Hopefully the Cubs lock it down and bail us out today. I’ll chalk it up to us being gassed but we can’t be losing series like this. No off days until the 29th after tomorrow. Time to nut up.

In some ways yes, but the Braves were due a bad stretch of baseball. Part of the season. Mets have had a MUCH more favorable schedule this month. Getting swept at home to the Cubs, and losing 2/3 to the Nats is alot worse than losing series on the road to the M's and Giants who while not great are still a respectable team.

Agree.

Battery power had an article that was saying how amazing it was that we could win 100 games with down years from Acuna, Ozuna, Rosario, Olson, Albies, Ian Anderson, Luke Jackson, etc.

Olson's on pace for 30 HR's, nearly 100 RBI's, has 41 doubles right now. His AVG and OPS are low but i mean, he's been more than okay. Obviously hasnt been as good as he was last year though, for sure. Probably striking out a little too much as well.

It shows how good this team is they can win while some other guys have down years. One year during this window the Braves will have a Dodgers type year and cruise to 105-110 wins. Next year if we can keep Swanson, that team can be pretty incredible depending what moves AA makes.

I hate using hrs only. For instance...

Olson is hitting a hr every 22.3 PA
Ozuna is hitting a hr every 22.7 PA
