I've been saying this. Regardless of this season he will opt to become a FA. He'll get a 3-5 year deal from somebody no doubt. Boras won't let him exercise that option. We will no doubt be looking for a SS in a few months.

I can't imagine anyone giving Kim more than 2 years again. He hasn't been good. If someone says he's is the most attractive SS on the market, you can immediately disregard their opinion.

And Boras works for Kim, not the other way around.

If 2 years is what they gotta have, I'd offer the 2 years at 25. I think he will be worth that. That's my max on years... maybe up to 27 total

That being said. After tonight there is a decent chance Olson is the top 1B in both fWAR and bWAR, depending on what Vlad Jr. does.

It’s just weird that he struggles while still throwing 96mph. I hope he figures it out. He’s a smart pitcher. At the very least, I’ll take a competent number 3 next year

It's a lack of command. A flat fastball in the middle of the zone is gonna get hit.
