they were all licking their chops ready to bash fredi when they saw simmons wasn't playing..
 
I'm beginning to run out of words for how bad this offense is right now. It doesn't matter who they run out to the mound right now, the Braves can't hit them. They are making sick to my stomach I can't even watch them right now, that's how painfully bad they are.
 
When J-Hey went down, this team stopped playing. They've gone out and played the games, but the mentality changed. It went from going out there confident in winning to going out there and just trying to tread water. Freddie Freeman said right after the injury that they just needed to keep their head above water until Heyward got back. When he said that I knew we were in danger of a tailspin like this. You NEVER go out there with that mentality. You go out there expecting to win. You go out there with a swagger.

When Heyward went down, the swagger went with him. Now I don't even think getting him back will bring us out of this.
 
It must be completely demoralizing to be a pitcher for this team right now. Just because you're facing a guy for the first time (is it Olindorf's first time against us?) doesn't mean you have to be awful.
 
Before Heyward went down we expected to win every game. I think this team is expecting to lose and just hoping they get lucky and win. It's amazing the lack of focus you're seeing right now.
