Phillies had the best approach against Soroka all year, despite the fact he has had some worse starts. Really stinks but it's true.

He doesn't need to start his next turn. Give him a break before the playoffs.
If he's going to be our game 1 starter I think he needs to make 1 more start and got 2-3 innings
Instead, Snitker is going to start him for each of the next 8 games, in hopes of getting him over 200 IP.

Whether he goes 2-3 innings or 9, the preparation for a start can be part of the workload. Give him a game off and go from there.

Yeah, he and some of the other guys will be making abbreviated starts next week. Don't want to go two weeks without pitching in a game.
