GDT 9/19 WRATH OF THE BOONDOCK TOUSSAINTS

It's pretty clear how pitchers are adjusting to Ozzie's aggressiveness. The sooner he adjusts like Acuna has, the better.

The scouting report now is almost certainly, "let him get himself out".

I'm going to keep knocking on it...but Albies problem isn't JUST the swinging at everything.

Can he hit upper quadrant pitches with authority? The answer, very clearly, is "no". It's even worse lefty.

Most pitchers don't have the command to consistently elevate, so he can simply just try to ignore those pitches, but against the pitchers that can, unless he figures out something else during this offseason, he's f'd vs them.

It should also be noted he's been missing pitches he was crushing consistently earlier. Someone has said if you compare to earlier in the season, it doesn't seem like he has his legs and he's all arms now in trying to swing.

Biddle does his job.

Bunch of right handed hitters coming up for the Cards in the 8th. Brach or Carle should pitch that inning. Carle is better rested. Brach has been getting more of the high leverage work.
