When you need a sweep, no one you'd rather see on the mound in ATL than Julio.

Damn....

Nice athletic play by JT to get a double play there. Might go a long way in getting the Braves into the ninth with a lead.

Maybin completely botches a play to give the Phils an extra out. Hope it doesn't cost JT a much deserved win.

Moylan has owned righties in a small sample, and his velocity is a lot better than last time around. So if he can keep that going into next Spring Training he could still be a good righty specialist for at least another year or two. Hopefully he can find a way to improve vs lefties eventually, I know he is working on adding a pitch similar to what O'Day uses against them.

There goes any shot at the number one pick.

Looking at the fact that we still have to play series against the Mets, Fish, and Cardinals, the first pick is still very much in play. Logically, I know it's best to want the Braves to lose but (no matter how lost the season) I just can't bring myself to do that.

Great to see CC is still on the boards. Tough loss last night for the Tide. I'm not sure the better team won last night, but the luckier team did.

Phillies are being managed in a way as if they're trying to lose, plus they are very bad too and own the tie breaker. So I don't believe it's realistic to say the first pick is very much in play.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't want him around. Good in the clubhouse and all that, but he'd just be taking a younger guy's developmental innings.
