GDT 9/23/13: Brewers (Estrada) @ Braves (Minor) 7:10 PM

Maybe we'll get some good pitching from those two guys since they're in essence pitching for a spot in the playoffs this week. Loser is probably done as a Brave.

I'm rooting for Freddy. Maholm can go bye bye for all I care.
 
How many times have we seen this team dominate the regular season, build a huge lead, and then let off the gas? I just don't get it.

Well, outside of the two streaks we've been pretty much a .500 team right? Thankfully those streaks were huge.

That's most playoff teams. They go .500 when they're cold and have a few hot streaks that make them into a playoff team. The Braves this year were more extreme than most but it's not atypical.

Team blows hot and cold. If we go into the playoffs cold, we're toast. Its that simple. They won't win a game. Pitching is decent but they won't shut people out.

Chip and Joe making it sound like the Brewers are a powerhouse team and were lucky to be hanging in there with them.
 
I'm still very concerned about this offense. Once again they are getting carved up by a freakin mediocre pitcher. What the hell are they going to do when they actually face great pitching in the post-season.
 
I am not concerned at all about how this game has gone. I expected the offense to be a bit hungover after yesterday. Now if it continues throughout this week then I will become concerned. If y'all want to be concerned about something it should be that Fredi favors Garcia over Wood to start in playoffs. That is really concerning to me!
 
Uh oh, Minor gave up three runs in 7 innings. A quality start, how terrible he is!

Where's Medlen? Where's my Medlen at, bring on Medlen to save the day!

Get shut out, strike out on pitches in the dirt, pop up the first pitch, same as tonight.
 
Uggla's had plenty of HBP's where he barely tries to move out of the way.

It's just Angel Hernandez being a see you en tee.
