GDT 9/23/22: Braves @ Philthies - Acuña Out Harris Bumped Up

I know what they are bc you post them in every game thread. He’s been terrible I get it buts better than what he’s showing the past month or so. Comparing him to FF is dead bc FF is gone and ain’t coming back and Olson is here for the next 8 years. And no he’s not the lone wolf for struggles and losses. He wasn’t pitching when the game was blown in Seattle a few weeks ago or several other games lately we should have won. Losing is a team effort.

I'd argue that having those numbers in the middle of your lineup is extremely damning trying to win a game. We might be the only team in baseball that would keep running him out there ever day at the top/middle lineup
 
Ian certainly wasn't having a good year, but he has had success here. AA inexplicably replaced a young guy with an old guy that's no better for some odd reason
 
Snit, this is an opportunity to pull Swanson at the very least. I'd pull him, Olson, Harris, and Riley if we have enough players
 
If this team does indeed crash-and-burn down the stretch bc of fatigue, snit has to be told to retire. Let em know he can retire or be fired

I don’t buy the fatigue ****…pitchers..yes…position players…hell no…They are collectively not hitting…That’s choking…not fatigue. No where all the fckn players are all tired at one time. Grissom, Harris, TDA, or Rosario have all played significantly less games.

Grissom and Harris have never played this many games.

TDA in sept: .304/.373/609
Rosario in sept: .313/.333/.438
 
I’d really like to win 100 games. We’re not going to make it past the DS or win the division, so we need to accomplish something this year. This season will be a failure if none of those things happen.
