He hit 96 on the gun four times in the ninth. Then 98 on the hands to finish Taytis. Big ****in’ brass balls the size of church bells
 
Fried is the 1st pitcher to have multiple Maddux games in one season since our friend Shelby Miller in 2015
 
Everyone can just shut the **** up if you have a problem with Fried finishing that (doesn’t seem like many here). There’s literally no one in the bullpen to trust over him in that spot. Needed that win.

Uh, pretty sure everyone still awake was supportive. He retired the last 18 and didn’t throw 100 pitches.

It was a four run lead, dumbass. Literally anyone in our pen could cover that over one inning. Yes, even Will Smith.

It doesn’t make much of a difference either way since he was at so few pitches. No reason to get upset about it.
