I think I speak for everyone when I say Bryce Elder is the next deGrom.

I think Elder is looking like a real solid back of the rotation guy. His control seems to have improved quite a bit. His velocity was never gonna light anyone up but if he's controlling the ball, his stuff appears effective.

I like that he's taking care of business against bad offenses. No reason Odorizzi can't do the same.

There's a lot to be said about that. Even our best guys have struggled at times against bad teams this year...
