GDT- 9/27 .....The Attack of the Bobby Sunday Lineup

I see Braves fans questioning snit for not using Culberson at third and Camargo at short. DOB either interacts mostly with our most ignorant fans or Braves fans are among the most ignorant in MLB thanks to our announcers and beat writers, etc. For example, check out this response in a thread questioning Snit for Culberson at short rather than Camargo:

Culberson says he's most comfortable at short, but I think it's obvious he plays better at third. Tough call"

I see posts like this regularly reading DOB and Bowman's twitter.

Camargo also isn’t a very good SS. I don’t care what the Braves brass is selling.

Camargo has a strong arm, same as Culberson does but lacks the range to play short as anything more than a back-up unlike Culberson. Plus Camargo is very good at third whereas Culberson worst position might be third despite his strong arm. He can play it but he obviously isn't as comfortable doing so like he is playing his natural position that got him here. It wasn't his bat that got him on the Dodgers roster for the playoffs last year. He had not hit a lick last year before the playoffs. It was his plus defense at short over the years in MLB and minors.

A lot of Braves fans are just very casual, rely on eye tests, and remember Culberson's horrific game at SS in a blowout loss vs the Dodgers. As it's obvious everything other than maybe the eye test says Culberson is one of those odd players that is good at a premium position and weirdly not at the supposed easier positions.

Just have to wait till they remove the slow pitch soft ball pitcher and beat their pen again, Teheran is keeping us in it at least.

markakis had a few cookies to hit, just swung through the first and hit other to shortstop who made a nice play

To be honest outside of the first game vs him we've been mostly pretty embarrassing vs Vargas. 83-85 MPH fastballs+an aggressive team that loves to swing=guys swinging as if it's a 90 MPH fastball and popping it up.
