GDT 9/28/13: Phillies (Martin @ Braves (Minor) 7:10 PM

I believe so.

In my opinion, when you are angry you trash the equipment. People are off-limits. When you step across that line, that should be your job.

How physical did he get? All I can rely on is that .gif.

I think the biggest problem is that this confrontation happened in front of cameras.

I can't really disagree with Niners.

One run through 8 innings against their bullpen?

With base runners on basically every inning.

Runners on first and second, one out, no outs, can't score em. Brutal loss.

That is terrible, period.

It's terrible, and it's also baseball.

It's not a complete reflection of our team that has managed to win 94 games this year.

crap shoot

Anything can happen and Sav made a lot of comments towards our VAUNTED staffs that make the Doggers look like a AAA team and those teams beat us and our VAUNTED staff with less than stellar hitting.

Chris just walked back in the dugout after laying on the dirt following the slide. He walked in, threw his helmet on the ground, about 5 feet from the stairs to the locker room, TP turned around from talking to Laird, and got in his face, put his hands on CJ and pushed his shirt up and chewed him up. CJ then snapped out of his grip, kept walking and TP ran back in front of him to chew him out more. Then the cameras cut to Phillies celebrating.

It is, but one run through 8 innings against their bullpen?

Just terrible.

Maybe the Cubs pull a rabbit out of their ass, and win, and we win tommorow but probably not.

Well, we may surprise some folks and take out the Dodgers, but we DAMN SURE wouldn't beat the Padres.:Alone:

Yeah, every team has bad games. This team just picks the worst times possible to have them.

With that said, it's time to focus on tomorrow. We need the shark to shut the Cards down, and we need Teheran to be outstanding.

It got pretty sporty. TP jacked him up and went back for more as the cameras cut off. Of course the post game acts as if nothing happened.

Of course anything can happen, but we don't matchup with them well at all.

See what happens tommorow I guess.

I don't see the big deal honestly. They are men. It's not like this is a high school team and a coach put hands on a kid. They are adults and will move on.

After watching that video, I would be surprised if Pendleton is a member of the team tomorrow.

TP channeling Lou Pinella? Who was it he got in a tussle with in the Reds clubhouse?

TP is easily one of the most fired up guys we have on the team, player or coach.

I think everyone has known for a long time how crazy he is. He's only been an assistance coach for the last 10 years.

It also makes me wonder if that's why they hired him to be the hitting coach specifically for Andruw Jones as his pet project, to keep him in line.

Meh. Looking to far into it. I see why the Dbacks threw him in on the trade, but that's too far

He threw a tantrum after that out. Rollins had his best game this season vs the Braves. That's baseball.
