We could've called up help such as Obispo, Hale, etc. I am not convinced Ayala is better than them, he's just old and experienced.
Wonder who will be catching tomorrow. Need to try and keep Gattis bat hot.
Not saying I disagree, not sure why more bullpen arms weren't brought up yet.
But fact remains especially with Walden out at least until the end of this week.
2013 Braves > 2012 Nationals
2012 Nats = 85 and 53
2013 Braves = 85 and 53
Did the Nationals have anything go wrong last year?
Feels like so much has gone wrong this year for the Braves.
You mean we need to go 15-9 from here on out just so the Nats won't catch us.
It'd be nice to rest some bullpen guys too.Fredi said he's gonna rest some guys so they have two days off.

I will say this, our team has the makings of being an extremely heartbreaking team, or a really fun one come October.
We're either going to go extremely cold and strike out 15 plus times, or we're going to start raking (if BJ's bat stays hot, Heyward comes back and doesn't miss a beat).
I love that these guys don't just sit back and take it in stride, they want to win every game.
The guys who have the most heart out there (Simba, Heyward, Freeman, McCann) are pushing the guys like Uggla, BJ, Justin and CJ to get lift.
Our starters are pushing each other as well. Just hope our bullpen doesn't collapse from overuse by October.

I'd say CJ and Simmons probably need a rest the most. Simmons most recent rest day he had to play part of the game. I also noted that Fredi said Gattis is scheduled to start again tomorrow (and against both lefties over the weekend).
BTW, we have three straight lefties going against Philly. I don't like that, I prefer to split up the lefties. It's been a long time since I've seen three lefties in a row start a series.
