Man you can’t make this stuff up. We went from needing to win just one of the last 3 games to being 0-2 and throwing our worst starter in game 3. The Mets can get all the pay back from the last several years in this game and send us home. And we deserve it.

I understand the Mets would rather face the Brewers than the Padres but I doubt they go easy on us even with a subpar lineup.

So the season might end without Sale pitching in over a week and a half. Seems like a bold strategy. Sale, Fried, Lopez for the KC series and they would be dancing already.. instead they tried to out smart themselves and now face elimination with Grant ****ing Holmes.

Has a manager and GM ever been fired in between DH?
