Just think, this time the past 3 seasons, today has been a dreadful day knowing we would have no baseball until Feburary.....

On a side note, reports are that Swanson felt discomfort in his wrist while trying to take swings yesterday. Will be re-evaluated on Wednesday, but doesn't sound promising.

Would Swanson be available as defensive replacement? Could we chance holding a spot for him in that role?
 
Needing a Braves win along with a Dodgers and Rockies loss to get home field for the NLDS.

Dodgers will throw Rich Hill (10-5 3.87 ERA) at the Giants who will counter with Andrew Suarez (7-12 4.22 ERA) Not too promising of a match up there
gNats look like they will throw Erick Fedde (2-3 5.24 ERA) at the Rockies who counter with Tyler Anderson (6-9 4.76 ERA)

I'm guessing deep analytics in the Dodger/Giant game today. Nine pitchers throw one inning apiece or something like that.
 
I'd like a win, but it won't help bc at least 1 of the West teams will win. I'm just pulling for both the west teams to win now
