I think we just have to acknowledge that we have a bunch of [crappy] hitters. We can try to maximize the batting order but, at at some point, it's like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

While he doesn't have the best bat Whit has an excellent understanding of the strike zone gets on base at a good clip and has great speed.
