GDT 9-7: Roku Game at 12:05: Ronald Acuna Batting 7th

I was following along on Gameday but it was alread 10-1 when I started. If today's pitchers were auditioning for next year, they may want to explore their options. I wasn't watching on television, but I wonder if the team has just given up and is going through the motions. Nothing worse than watching unmotivated baseball teams. The bullpen doesn't need a complete overhaul (and I wonder what the approach to Iglesias will be this off-season), but the second tier guys out there have been pretty bad all season long. Jimenez is returning so that will help.
 
the fan base needs to get on all social media platforms.. emails to the front office.. text messages to twit himself and start calling him racist. I don't care if it is true.. he needs to hate his job and the fans.. he needs to rage quit before the year is out..

He no doubt moved Ronald down to 7th bc he don't like him. They have never liked each other. The look on Acuna the other night said it all that he's checked out. I don't blame him. No way they can bring Snit back 50th or not he's gotta go.

He is. As in keep him as a lefty long reliever so he can be an option for 5th starter if shit goes sideways....again. Wentz as the 5th starter isnt a problem. Wentz as the third SP is. People want to have 10 SP because we know some will get injured well they cant all be All Stars like Bryce Elder. Maybe thats not the best example.
 
Lopez should still be looked at as a bullpen arm for next year instead of a SP and be the 1st option to step in when there is an injury. Elder and Wentz as 3rd or 4th options aren't bad but the depth has to be improved this offseason.
 
kim might opt out of his contract just to get away from twit.. literally twit is a super nova of stupidity that sucks the intelligence out of everything it comes with a certain radius of.. Kim sees this and has to escape it.
 
I do think Kim will opt out bc the SS market sucks outside of Bichette. Boras will try to get him more years and it'll work. AA hasn't dealt with Boras from my memory and that's not good especially if they were interested in Tucker, Cease or anybody else.
 
It's hard to imagine Wentz tricking anyone into thinking he was an option for 2026. He's a AAAA arm that should be stashed in AAA as the 8th or 9th SP option.
 
Thats what I was saying. 9th/10th option. I dont think he has any minor league options left so unless he would sign a minor league deal I suggest using him as a long reliever. If everyone gets to opening day healthy maybe we dont have room for him but what are the odds of that happening.
