GDT: Atlanta Braves @ NY Mets, July 25th 2013 - Wood Rises Up To the Occasion

While I think Wood is going to be really good, this isn't a bad thing. Hopefully this shows the Braves they MUST get a SP by the trade deadline.
 
So many weak hits. So frustrtating. And because the box score doesn't look good people are gonig to want Alex Wood in the pen.
 
That at-bat is a perfect example of why he is not ready. Scared to throw him a strike.
 
Gattis cost the Braves twice in that inning in LF. That should have been an easy out at home.
 
I want Wood in the pen so we don't overpay for a lefty reliever.....I think Beachy can be as good as Wood. I don't think they'll put Maholm in the pen.

Gattis looking awful today in LF....looks like what gilesfan said Chris Johnson would look like at 3B.
 
Still early but down 3..yeah our offense scored 8 last night so they will be content for the next week. Dont like our chances.

As good as Wood? Beachy is better.
