Not sure how you think Wren is going to be able to trade a 30 something year old second baseman with 26 mill left on his deal.

Uggla is here to stay

Edit: Oh and the said 2nd baseman can't hit. Wren trading Uggla and not eating 10 mill on his deal would be amazing.

There will be a team that will take Uggla for 3-5 million per year. Braves are just going to have to eat ALOT of the money.
 
Great pitching today by Julio, esp. when he got into jams. He didn't look at his best but he still held them scoreless six innings. Hopefully the bullpen can do the same the rest of the way.

Pointing out major issues with Gattis is not giving up on him.
 
I dont see Wren eating 18-20 million of that contract. Maybe the last year they can do what they did with Lowe. Best bet is if we can exchange him for another bad contract that works better for us. Should we be able to unload Uggla I would love to bring Omar Infante back. I think he is the type of guy we need to complement the streaky power hitters we have on the team.
