Just checked, because this is important, and Bi Lo bought out 22 Piggly Wiggly's in Georgia and SC, but I can't find anything on them buying any other stores from PW.

Do you think we're freaking rich? Those two are down at the Dollar General and I'm heading over there once I'm done here at the Piggly Wiggly.

There used to by Piggly Wiggly's in Minnesota years ago, but I believe they have all closed or been converted to a different chain. I just did a quick search and there are a bunch in Wisconsin.

All the Piggs that existed in Savannah were part of the Bi-Lo buyout. And not even like 2-3 years later Bi-Lo closed all those stores after re-brand.

Piggs were actually very popular here. And the Bi-Lo name never took off.

Your supermarket game is weak old man

In the last 10 years they've opened a Fresh Market, Whole Foods, Lucky's in the area. Also have Aldi's opening soon.

Also lots of Kroger's here and Publixes.

I like Fresh Market's environment and aesthetic the best even though they're pricier. Publix generally also can't go wrong.

I don't think I've shopped at Wal Mart in 6 years.
