Yes, and a win vs any other team would have been roughly half that much....a swing of about 1%.

It’s logical to take the position that guys don’t need rest right now. Maybe they don’t. Definitely possible.

It’s not logical to emphasize a game vs the Nats in June as reason not to rest guys.

It’s not logical to suggest the Nats are going to make decisions based on a series in June.

The plan to proactively rest guys more often this season hasn’t really happened. Whether it happened today isn’t really the point, but this was just as good a day as any to schedule a day off.
 
Acuna is a guy that could use a blow right now, but I’m not sure we have a guy on the roster who could handle CF considering Riley/Markakis/Charlie/Joyce are all subpar outfielders.

Ender needs to get healthy so we can take Camargo’s spot on the big league roster. Charlie can essentially fill his role as the MIF utility guy and it would be nice if we didn’t have to rely on Max Fried as our primary pinch runner.
 
Soroka off to a good start. We really need him to have a good one today the way the pitching has been lately.

Watching Soroka throw strikes and then seeing the rest of our pitchers not being able to throw strikes is so amazing.
