GDT braces vs mets

After watching this replay system for some time now, I'm okay with the caution used in overturning calls on the field. I just wish there was a time limit. 90 seconds or so. I'd like to see fewer replays, and a system that incents teams to only ask for a review when there is a clear case to overturn. These replays of a bang-bang play that take 4 minutes are just crazy. If you can't overturn in 90 seconds, take off the headset and move on.

I hate the replays where a guy steals a base and is off the bag for a fraction of a second but is still technically out on review

Hey New York, replay this!

If we had just had a competent manager the last few years could have been alot different. There was some serious talent on those teams from 12'-14'

Those teams would have been better with Brian Snitker as manager. There is no doubt in my mind. Brian has some Bobby in him.

12 wouldn't have been any different your hall of fame 3b still made the worst throw of his career and umps still mis called the infield fly.

Just watched the replay. Both that umpiring crew and the replay officials should be fined. Inexcusable.

Just looked at it myself. Terrible call. I agree with the Mets' announcers that Bonifacio's slide was terrible, but he still beat the throw.

"Admiration is the first word that comes to mind," said Garcia through a translator. "You just always know Snit has your back and he's always pulling for your team.

"We all saw the same play out there, so for him to go out there and just defend us and get fired up like that, it definitely gave us a rush of energy, got us all pumped up and kind of rallied the whole team together."

Snit doin enough for the job permanently? You have to wonder at this point.

That said, he needs to get us a lead on that no 1 pick race.

The pen's been great and the hitting in high leverage situation has picked up quite a bit. Those two things will always make a manager look good (recall the first couple months of last year). But I kinda like Snit (which is what Adonis called him).
