Considering the braves have been trying to reinvent Soroka to be more of a swing and miss guy, and are coaching Shuster and Dodd to get more missed swings, it's interesting they're letting Winans be the pitcher he is. I know that it's probably more they just need a spot starter. But still.
 
The umpire has brutalized hitters with terrible calls all night. Murphy has specific had balls called strikes two or three times.
 
That sorry ass hitter was sitting dead read on that slider in...that was a good pitch that would catch most lefties off balance. That MFer knew it was coming. Either he's god damn Pete Rose or he knew that pitch was coming.
