How many more innings is Snitcker going to abuse Venters like he abused S.Freeman?? 4 appearances in 6 games(Sept 1st thru 6th). 2 total innings pitched, 2 hits, 1 ER. Although the ingames were short, the wear and tear on arm during warmups is tolling. I think he was up 5 times for warmups.

Hoping for another good Gausman start. Someone was talking playoff rotation in a game day thread recently and he wasn't mentioned. He's gotta be in the Braves top 3. A lot may factor in how the final couple times through the rotation go. If Sanchez is good, may want to leverage his playoff experience

My wish for the last couple months has been to win the division however possible and get all these young guys some playoff experience. Whatever happens is goodness. Many of the teams that have come out of rebuilds recently have gotten beat early in the playoffs the first year that they were relevant and the built upon that the following year (Cubs/Astros).
