GDT: Braves @ Mets 5/1 Game 1 of Doubleheader

I hope today was a learning lesson for the whole organization plus strider.

Doesn't matter if your fastball is an 80 pitch. If you don't have pinpoint control you can't overuse it. Mix up how you start hitters and Strider will continue to be filthy.

He’s always been a streaky hitter especially in his minor league days but it’s somewhat concerning.
How does his advanced stats look?

He is being too patient or is just not seeing hte ball.

His swing % has dropped a bunch from previous years. I think he just needs to be more aggressive early in the count.

Move him to cleanup and he'll flourish. I have no idea why but he's just so mid in the three-hole.

xwOBA down a good bit. Still early but not hitting the ball like he normally does. Average EV, max, and launch angle all down.
