GDT: Braves @ Mets Game 1 of Double Dip

I think we know what Odorizzi is, but giving him and Anderson (in his current state) equal starts and taking more time away from Fried and Wright...I'm not sure that's the help the team needs right now. Especially when we really only have two effective lefties in the pen right now and Matzek not 100%.
 
Velocity still mainly at 94-95 but Tyler looked pretty good right there. McNeil had his stupid little lucky slap
 
This is just one of those games where simultaneously it's amazing that we're still within striking distance but also it's amazing we're not pounding the opposing pitcher.
 
Look at showalter PHing competently and pulling his SP at the right time.

That’s not what I want to see the Mets doing…
 
At this rate, Braves will have top of the order up in the 8th. If it's still 3-0, I wonder if he'll roll with Diaz for two again.
 
AA loves SSSs. He saw Olson last year have a career yeat, and he bit. Same as allard in HS showcase and same as the lhp we got from giants that's with cubs now... yeah, I'm drunk in NOLA

Right? Why the **** can’t we get our manager to do this very basic ****?

And as I say this, he’s conceding an out by letting Grossman face a righty.
 
Probably should have PH Rosario there, but probably not worth him having to come in and play three innings with another game tonight.

At first I though it was ok because this is a low leverage PA, and this allows him to PH later when it might matter more. Then I realized Ozuna is on the bench, and he could PH for Rosario if needed…so yeah, Rosario should have taken that PA.
